With HITMAN World of Assassination – Signature Edition, IO Interactive offers Switch 2 players a chance to carry out Agent 47’s deadly missions anytime and anywhere. Featuring all three campaigns from the HITMAN trilogy plus bonus missions like the Monarchique arcade contract, this version aims to be the most comprehensive portable stealth package to date.
Gameplay-wise, it delivers. Each location is a living sandbox filled with opportunities. Whether you're dropping a chandelier or rigging a phone to explode, the creative assassination tools that define HITMAN remain fully intact. The ability to play any mission from the start is another plus, especially for returning fans who want to revisit favorites or new players who crave instant variety.
But where the gameplay shines, the visuals and performance dim the experience. On the Switch 2, assets often appear low-res or blurred. Character animations lack fluidity, especially in crowds, and environmental details feel flat. For a game known for precision and immersion, this is a letdown.

In the end, HITMAN World of Assassination – Signature Edition offers a complete and thrilling stealth sandbox, but it’s held back by poor visual fidelity and spotty performance. If IO Interactive can smooth out the rough edges, it may become the best portable version of the series to date.
